Asolo is a town in the Veneto Region of Northern Italy. It is known as 'The Pearl of province of Treviso', and also as 'The City of a Hundred Horizons'. The town has a spectacular mountain setting, and is rich in history.
Asola is located roughly between Venice and Vicenza. The old streets of this city are too gorgeous to be avoided. Gothic arcades, facades decorated with frescos and beautiful balconies of this medieval city offer the visitors a view of the medieval period. Just walk around to get the best view of this place. The main attraction of his place is the Cathedral.
Other interesting Churches to visit are the S. Gottardo Church which has got remarkable frescos, the S. Caterina Church with frescos of the 15th century, and the S. Anna Church sited on the hill near the cemetery where Eleonora Duse was buried.
