Trento is an Italian city located in the Adige River valley. Trento is located on the glacial valley called the Adige valley which is towards the south of the Alps foothill. Along with the beauty of Alps, it has also got rich flavors of art, culture and history.

Castello del Buonconsiglio - Towards the northeast side of Trento is situated the Castello del Buonconsiglio. This was the former residence of the prince-bishop, from 1811 to 1918. It is now converted into a museum. The 13th century Castelvecchio, built around the oldest part, the massive round tower, was remodeled in Venetian Gothic style in1475. The Castello houses the Museo Provinciale d'Arte. It is known to exhibit pictures of the months in the Torre dell'Aquila by an unknown 15th century painter. Many sculptures, period furniture, archeological collections are among the treasure of this museum. The building also houses the Museo del Risorgimento, with relics of the struggle for the liberation of Italy.
Cathedral - In the center of Trento is the Piazza del Duomo, which has a beautiful Neptune Fountain. The cathedral is situated on the south side of this square. It was remodeled internally at the beginning of the 13th century as a pillared basilica in Lombard Romanesque style. Again the central dome was entirely renewed in 1887-89. The interior is endowed with many 13th-14th century frescoes and numerous bishops' tombs. Under the cathedral are the remains of an early Christian church (sixth century), with a fine mosaic floor.
Rovereto - Towards the South of Trento is situated the Rovereto. In the center of the town is the Piazza Rosmini. A little way north of this is situated the fine Renaissance palace. This palace is now occupied by the Savings Bank, with an arcaded courtyard. Nearby is the Museo Civico which has got a geological collection. In the Castello on higher ground, is a War Museum, with a collection of First World War mementos. To the south of the old town stands a conspicuous circular building, the Sacrario di Castel Dante in which more than 20,000 dead of the First World War are buried. So this town has got lot to offer.
Palazzo Municipale - From the Piazza del Duomo in Trento the wide Via Belenzani runs north. This is the finest street in the town. It has got a series of fine palaces with remains of painting on the facades. Near the north end of the street, on the right, is the 16th century Palazzo Municipale, with the 15th century Casa Geremia opposite.
Pinzolo - Pinzolo is a small town. It is mainly known as a ski resort during the winter months. Lying at the foot of different and wonderful mountains, in the lush green valley of Val Rendena, Pinzolo offers children lots of space to play and run.
Val Rendena - The Valley of Rendena is best known for ski excursions.
